`Boardwalk Empire,' 'Glee' big winners at Globes

It was a good night for HBO, "Glee" and probably the bartenders at Hollywood's annual Golden Globe awards.

HBO's Prohibition-era drama "Boardwalk Empire" dethroned "Mad Men" as television's top drama — in the estimation of Golden Globe voters. Al Pacino and Claire Danes both won acting awards for their roles in HBO movies.

"Glee," meanwhile, won the Globe for television's best comedy or musical, its second Globe for the two years the exuberant Fox series has been on the air.…

Attorneys for Dr. Conrad Murray have been asking for months that fluids in two syringes and an IV bag found in Jackson's rented mansion be tested to determine how much of the anesthetic propofol and painkiller lidocaine they…

NBC's late-night fiasco tops 2010's stories

What began as a grand, highly promoted experiment in late-night, ended in a fiasco that made NBC a laughing stock and captivated the country.

In January 2010, NBC sought to displace its newly crowned "Tonight Show" host, Conan O'Brien, by restoring Jay Leno to 11:35 p.m. O'Brien, however, didn't go for the 30 minute shift, and the fallout made for one of the most public debacles in network history.

Allegiances were drawn, with many supporting "Team CoCo." In the end, O'Brien…
